A new adventure for me, but one that was incredible to be a part of.
From video and photos to location scouting and making the final edits, I can organise it all for your special day (including braving cold weather on the side of a mountain)
Brief:
I was contacted by a young guy who wanted to propose to his partner in the Lewis Pass on the Tops Track. This was around 2 and a half hours from Christchurch with around a 2 hour hike up to the tops for the shoot. We scouted the day before and walked up to a spot that we loved the look of. The following day I drove out early in the morning to get ahead of the couple. Waiting in -2 degree temparature on the side of the hill I hid in a group of rocks until the moment presented itself. Following this we also did an engagement shoot while we were on the hill. The couple was ecstatic with the result
